Yellow brass and red brass
Brass is a copper alloy, and how much copper is in it drives the price. Red brass carries more copper and is worth more than yellow brass, the everyday plumbing and hardware variety.
Attached steel, plastic, or rubber lowers the grade. Removing what comes off easily is worth the few minutes.
